Message I too have a '91 and replaced my shocks with new OEM ones and the Eibach lowering springs. I had about 70K on it when i did the work. Honestly, I did not notice a drop very much at all. The reason is that even though my shocks/springs only had 70K on them, they did have 11 years on them, so the springs were sagging a bit I'm sure. So you probably won't notice a huge difference in the height of your Z.

But one thing I did notice was that the ride got a bit stiffer. After I replaced everything, the touring setting was about the same as the sport setting before. And the sport setting now is even stiffer. I like it. I still have stock sized wheels and tires on now, but i will be going to 18s this summer.

Overall the ride is a bit smoother, but I definately feel more bumps in the road. I like it though, feel like I'm getting more feedback fro the road. I definately recommend the OEM shocks with the Eibach springs.
